First Post- CardPatterns #70


This is my maiden voyage into the land of blogdom.

I have been making cards for challenges posted on line, but then rarely post them because I have to link through another site, etc. So, I have launched my own blog.

Ok, this is for challenge #70. Some day I will figure out how to post the template I am following!

This is HA poppies cling stamp- stamped on patterned paper with Versamark and embossed in white. I made masks of the flowers and after applying over original image, I colored the background with distress ink- vintage photo. Sentiment from HA,too.

    Hi Ellen, I found you at the Hero Arts Flickr site, and your name there intrigued me, so I had to come see if you were from Maine! (It's our favorite place to vacation). Congratulations on starting a blog; you will find it quite addicting! To post a template for a challenge, right click on the picture at the site, then save it to your computer, and then upload it here just as you did your card photo. Hope that helps!
